About me

I'm interested in current affairs, investigative work, science and health, as well as social issues which are the central themes of my work. I have a background in Powerlifting and strength sports and spend much of my time absorbing entertainment podcasts and music.

Presenting is my favourite capacity to communicate but I'm also a keen video editor, storyboarder, videographer and I love to brainstorm and research topics in depth. Model UN conferences have spurred my love for debating and politics and literature an appreciation for theatre, arts and drama.

I have a lot of insight into mental health issues and specific learning conditions and have invested years of research into understanding the language around mental illness and stigma. I'm well versed and educated in the public and private systems, causes, management and treatment as well as neurodiversity and its effect on young people throughout the years and society as whole.

Studied at Bournemouth University in Broadcast and Multimedia Journalism (BSc), NCTJ qualified. Previous academic and art scholarships.
